If you or a loved one have received a terminal diagnosis, you may find it helpful to talk to someone about how you are feeling; to share your worries and concerns with someone who wants to help.
A visit from someone who cares will be comforting, and that is one of the ways in which we can help. Our volunteers can make regular visits to talk, to share a basket of fruit and generally to make your days more happy, peaceful and rewarding.
Faith and trust in Allah Ta’aala are the components that will help you pull through this difficult time.
We provide a free service to the whole community. An Aalim or Aalimah can visit you in your own home, listen to what you have to say, and provide comforting advice and support from the Blessed Quraan and Sunnah.
Illness is from Allah Ta’aala and cure is from Allah Ta’aala. An illness is a means of Allah’s Mercy and forgiveness. Being reminded of Allah Ta’aala’s Grace, Mercy and Blessings at this difficult time has a healing effect.
We can help other family members cope and understand the diagnosis through the lens of the Quraan and Sunnah.
